World Refugee Day

65.6 million: That’s how many forcibly displaced people there are in the world. Just think about that for a moment—the number of people who have had to flee their home is about the population of the United Kingdom. That’s A LOT of people who don’t have a place to call home. 22.5 million of those people are refugees.

Today is World Refugee Day, a time to recognize the issues surrounding this global crisis, learn more about what’s happening, and celebrate the refugee community for their strength, hope, and contributions.
