When we say Taco Bell, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Yep, tacos, of course! Taco Bell, and its competitors in the fast food industry like McDonald’s and Burger King, have to come up with interesting ideas that keep customers interested in eating at their restaurants. McDonald’s brought back one of their most popular sandwiches, the McRib (if you’re not sure what this is, just ask your parents!) and Burger King recently introduced the Impossible Whopper (a burger patty made of fake meat that looks and tastes like beef!).
Recently, Taco Bell changed things up completely but instead of a new item on their menu, they offered up their entire menu in the form of a pop-up hotel! Interesting, we know! It’s called The Bell: A Taco Bell Hotel and Resort, and people got to order room service with a menu filled with—you guessed it—Taco Bell items. Guests also had the chance to relax in the pool on large sauce packet inflatables!
The hotel was located in Palm Springs, California, and the pop-up experience only lasted four days, August 8th through August 12th. For Taco Bell lovers, this was the hotel of their dreams. Unfortunately, only those who nabbed a spot in the first two minutes when reservations opened up were lucky enough to enjoy the experience. Yep, that’s how fast all seventy rooms were booked. Pretty cool: a fast food restaurant that makes food fast also sells rooms fast too!
