It took almost a year of testing for Spotify to finally declare Spotify Kids ready for use. If you’ve ever used Spotify or any other streaming music service, you’ve probably been using your parents’ music account. And depending on how you feel about your parents’ music, you may or may not enjoy the experience of sharing a music service. Up until now, you needed to be an adult to own a Spotify account. Well, no longer. Spotify Kids launched this month, and it means kids can listen to and create their own Spotify playlists that don’t get mixed in with those of the grownups. Nice! The best part? The app now has 8,000 songs and its own “wash your hands” playlist.
