Less sugar and more exercise is where it’s at!
Have you heard? First Lady Michelle Obama wants the country to move! No, not move to a new place, but to move their bodies like walking, dancing,
or playing in the playground. She’s been working hard to help people (especially kids!) understand how important it is to take care of their bodies. One way to take care of your body is to exercise. Another way is to eat foods that are good for you.
Every five years the U.S. government comes out with updated advice on what to eat based on the discoveries of nutrition scientists (or people who study food and how it affects the body). So what should we be eating to maintain a healthy diet? It sounds like different kinds of protein like lean meats, nuts, and seafood are a thumbs up, but sugar is a big thumbs down!
