He’s not a new ally of planet Earth, but he’s making a more public plea for big companies to join his efforts! Recently, Prince Charles (yep, the future king of England!), asked companies around the world at the One Planet Summit in Paris, France, to commit to protecting the planet. How? He created an official document called the Terra Carta, also known as the Earth Charter, and asked companies to support the efforts outlined in the document. These actions would commit the companies to becoming more sustainable by 2030. Think this is a big ask? Perhaps, but many companies have already committed to helping planet Earth in their own ways and have publicly said they’d do things like stop producing gas-powered cars or removing plastic straws from their cafes. With such a high profile (that’s a famous person!) behind the charter, the hope is that lots of companies sign the charter. Way to step up for planet Earth, Prince Charles!

What do you do to help planet Earth? At Xyza, we’re all about using reusable bottles. It’s a small effort, but something (like we always say) is better than nothing!
