It all started with a go-kart ride for Toni Breidinger, the first Arab-American female in NASCAR. As a nine-year-old, she went go-karting with her family and started an adventure with car racing that’s now put her in the top league in America. Breidinger has won the United States Auto Club race nineteen times and made her way to Daytona International Speedway for her first NASCAR circuit this year. She’s been racing for twelve years now and says, “I’m a driver just like everybody else. As soon as the helmet comes on, gender is irrelevant.” Breidinger finished eighteenth in the race!
