#BlackLivesMatter protests erupted throughout the country after a Black man named George Floyd was killed by a police officer while in custody. People by the thousands came out to express their frustration with systemic racism, inequality, and police brutality specifically toward the Black community. Kids across the country also voiced their desire to make change happen. Some participated in protests while others chose to express their support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement through art.
