Movie Review: Ant-man and the Wasp

By Fletcher B.

Ant-Man and the Wasp was an amazing movie. Warning: spoilers ahead! Ghost, the villain, had an amazing reason to do what she was doing. If you have not watched the original Ant-Man, I wouldn’t recommend reading the rest of this review. It did feel like most people put the word quantum in front of everything (that is one of the only bad things). I thought that Paul Rudd’s performance as Ant-Man was amazing, but I thought Hannah John-Kamen’s performance as Ghost was so much better. Ant-Man and the Wasp is an amazing movie. I think anybody would love it, but my favorite person is Michael Pena’s character, Luis!!!!! Luis is so funny!! There’s one part where he pulls up in his van and yells, “Wazzup!” (which is in reference to an old Budweiser commercial). The whole reason Ghost is a villain is because she has quantum energy in her body, so she can pass through walls and other things. Hank Pym also played a big part. He was the one who invented the Pym Particle, which makes people able to shrink (and grow, if manipulated correctly).
