Junior Reporter Book Review: Zoya’s Book Review

May 2, 2017

Junior Reporter Zoya shared her review of the book “Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls”.

This book is about girls who decided to do things that most girls would not have dared to do. The book is called “Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls”.It has ballerinas, writers and many other types of people. My favorite women are Jane Goodall, Yusra Madini and a transgender named Coy Mathis. These girls are special because they stood out from other girls by breaking an unfair law of doing something different. I think “Rebel” means to do something most people would not have dared to do. I learned that if you want to do something, you probably can do it. I think boys can read this book despite the name because boys can stand up to things as much as girls and girls can stand up to things as much as boys. The girls were rebels because they were treated unfairly and wanted to be treated as equals. I hope you liked my book review on “Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls” and I hope you like it. From Zoya, 8 years, 3rd grade.
