NASA, where do I sign up?

Want a job where you get to visit the moon? How about one where you get to study the planet Mars and maybe even visit one day? Or how about one where you get to learn and discover new things about space? If you answered “Yes!” to these questions, you’ll want to listen up!

NASA, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, is looking for their next class of astronauts to join their current 46-person team. But before you jump out of your seat and ask your parents to submit your application, you’ll need a few things. Each candidate must have at least a college degree in math, science, or engineering. They also must have professional experience or experience flying a jet for more than 1,000 hours. And last but not least, all candidates must pass a health test to make sure they are in top physical health. So if you’re thinking of becoming an astronaut, start checking off that list and soon you’ll be ready for lift off !
