Everyone’s A Fan

What do you think brings people together? Food? Art? Sports? We’d like to think all of those things and much more do, but for this news story, we’re focusing on how one sports team is bringing people together through its team-branded apparel.

After playing an incredible NBA World Championship series against the Golden State Warriors last year, the Toronto Raptors not only took home the title of champion, they also captured a whole slew of new fans! To show their growing and diverse fan base that everyone is loved by the team (no matter their ethnic or racial background, or religious belief), the team partnered up with Nike to make their first-ever team-branded hijab for Muslim women. The Raptors hope that these hijabs send a clear message of inclusivity to their growing fan base and to the rest of the world.
