A Once in a Lifetime Journey

September 13, 2016

This week, over a million people from more than 150 countries went on a five-day islamic pilgrimage called the “Hajj.”  People put aside their differences and traveled to an oasis town called Mecca, in Saudi Arabia to worship at this holy place. There is a limit to how many people each country can send to Mecca and the government sets out 160,000 tents that can house up to 50 people each.
